Cycle the Minuteman Bikeway with Fellow MIT Alumni

Spring is calling—join us for a leisurely cycling adventure on the Minuteman Bikeway!

Where: Thorndike Field Park parking lot (free parking) at 99 Margaret St, Arlington, just 0.2 miles from MBTA Alewife Station (Red Line).

Destination: Bedford’s Depot Park (20 miles round trip) or Lexington Common (12 miles round trip)—the group will decide. The entire ride will be on the Minuteman Bikeway at about 12–14 mph.

When: Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 10 AM – on the vernal equinox, the first day of spring. Return by approximately 11:30 AM – noon.

Indulgences:  If there’s interest, we’ll stop at Kickstand Cafe on our return to discuss making this a weekly event and ways to enhance everyone’s cycling enjoyment.

Weather Policy: The event will be canceled if the probability of rain exceeds 25%. Ride status for 3/20/2025: Go
